Hello my lovely people!!! So your favourite fashionista is back with yet another heritage location of Delhi which is almost seen by you a zillion times in movies, sitcoms and advertisements.  The India Gate, (originally called the All India War Memorial), is a war memorial located astride the Rajpath, on the eastern edge of the ‘ceremonial axis’ of New Delhi, formerly called Kingsway. India gate is a memorial to 82,000 soldiers of the undivided British Indian Army who died in the period 1914–21 in the First World War, in France, Flanders, Mesopotamia, Persia, East Africa, Gallipoli and elsewhere in the Near and the Far East, and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. 13,300 servicemen’s names, including some soldiers and officers from the United Kingdom, are inscribed on the gate. Now coming to the look I curated at this location. Even though new Spring/ Summer 16 collections are currently being rolled out across the fashion industry, we are very much in the middle of autumn. The bracing heat and cold winds of the season continue to bite, and the weather doesn’t look like letting up anytime soon. So, for the time being at least, sturdy knits, outerwear and boots are still at the forefront of our thoughts and wardrobes, despite the high street attempting to convince us otherwise. After tackling trunklines in one of our recent posts, today the focus shifts to their not-so-distant cousin, the cardigan. I am wearing a sky blue shirt layered with a knit cardigan and paired with these super comfy joggers. Keeping it simple on my feet are these super casual converse sneakers.

Spread the love...
