Hello my lovely people!!! Summer and hot weather brings about men with their legs out. However I think shorts are probably one of the hardest items to put a decent outfit together with and this is even more obvious when you see other people “trying” to rock them. With jeans there are so many shapes, cuts and washes and you know where you stand with them. You can wear anything on the top half (formal or casual) and still easily pull it off. Shorts however are slightly different. Many men do not know how to wear shorts correctly, and do not know what items will look good with them. As a 1980s/1990s youth, neon and fluorescent shades were no stranger to my childhood (anybody who can recall Global Hypercolour tees can probably testify to that). Colour has slowly been making its way into spring/summer menswear over the past few years, and the collections for SS15 have taken this new interest to the next level. Bringing you a picturesque reference of my above description is my look curated for Jack and Jones India in this post. Layered on a basic ganji is my fluorescent  orange shirt paired with a two tone more darker pair of shorts. A slip on Loafers/ boat shoes leave no stone unturned to make me feel at ease with the perfect coloured reflector knock around’s which add a feather on the cap when it comes to this particular attire. So there we have it, one of the biggest upcoming colour trends for SS13 is likely to be neon and fluorescent hues. But what do you think? Is the fashion world ready for a reversion back to 1980s/1990s inspired neons, or should styling for spring/summer remain more sober and muted?
