Hello lovely people!! How’s it going? As you guys must have made out from my Instagram that I was on a trip to Rajasthan
last month; I had the privilege to explore two of the prettiest & heritage properties with Mr. Gautam & Saloni Narang;
Founders & Co-founders of the Paras Corporation.
Speaking of the first property; When the entire world was fascinated about the grandeur and magnificence of royal
Rajasthan and the kingly lifestyle of its Maharajas and Maharanis, the Rajput scions of Jodhpur introduced the
first Heritage Hotel of India named Ajit Bhawan. An imposing blend of crisp luxuries and impressive heritage, Ajit
Bhawan stands as an epitome of self- indulgent and upscale hospitality in Jodhpur. Built in 1927 exclusively for
the Major General Maharaj Dhiraj Sir Ajit Singh Ji, the younger brother of Maharaja Shri Umaid Singhji of
erstwhile Jodhpur State, Ajit Bhawan decades later was opened as the Pioneer Heritage Hotel of India by his Son
and daughter-in-law- late Maharaja Swaroop Singhji and Rani Usha Devi respectively. In this magnanimous
spread of 20,500 sq. meters, the legacy of Royal Rajputana and its imperial lifestyle is elegantly shared with
those who fancy Rajasthan as a perfect base to taste supreme luxuries of the gorgeous era.
Coming to my stay here; starting with Day 1:
Upon reaching there; we were warmly welcomed with Fruits & Drinks. Post resting for a while, we headed to J
Bar; one of the restaurants at the property for lunch. They served an ala cartè of rich dishes which left me lip
smacking. The food was so good that I had no option but to go to my royal room and rest. Post that; we
experienced the Hi tea at beautiful cosy tent houses adjacent the property. On returning back ; we watched the
beautiful sunset & got ready for dinner. Dinner was served at the Garden Restaurant that evening.
Day 1 ends.
All the food from the earlier day; urged me to go hit the gym in the morning so that I could stuff in myself on
day 2 too; :P. Then I headed to the pool area for a fresh breakfast affair. Post which we commenced our Village
Safari which had us witness the waving houses ,Opium ceremony & Camel Spotting. Later then; we had lunch at
the Dhani Extension. Then it was time for the Vintage car ride. I almost fell like a kind atm. We came back after
this overwhelming experience only to dip in to the pool and enjoy some relaxation time. The evening that day;
had us drink at the J Bar & dine at the Garden Restaurant.
As this was the last day; I woke up late & had my breakfast in the room only to bid adieu to this beautiful
To conclude; I had one of most memorable stays at this beautiful property. I definitely suggest that you guys
should visit this property on your next trip to Rajasthan.
